He's in love with me...

Ok there's this kid. It's not who you think it is. He's one of my best friends ever. And he tells me he's in love with me. And so IDK. I think I like him, but I don't want to get in the way of anything more important- especially God, who I think is working through me in him right now. Any suggestions?

Yeah. You're 14. Way too young to be dating/looking for a guy. Give it 3-4 years... you're not ready. Nothing against you in particular, but 14 year old girls aren't ready to pursue a real and lasting relationship with a guy.
I never even considered it until I hit 17 or 18. There's really just no point. No reason to date anybody whatsoever until you're ready to get married.

That's my two lincolns on the subject.

Give it at LEAST 2 years.

I don't know. I mean...this is the problem with guys! When I was younger, they were my best friends because, along with me, they didn't like girls. Now, they all like girls, and it all falls back on me since I've been their friend for so long. So at this point there's a whole bunch of guys that like me and I'm really tired of it. Ehh. What do you have to say for your species?!?!!?

True... it happens to the best of us. Eventually we go "hey wait a second... that's a girl!" Instead of "oh she's one of us guys."

When that happens the fireworks start and life gets crazy for both genders. lol

Even though you're right in that girls tend to mature faster, 14 is still not old enough. Sorry... wait a few years.

hmm...touchy subject I suppose, haha but seriously, Holly is normally the first person to tell people (me) that boyfriend/girlfriend stuff usually just leads to trouble... Holly, my personal oppion is to go for it if you feel like he is someone u can be with, bc you can't learn unless you have already made the mistakes......one way or another you will get a good lesson outta it but that is me hehe and we all know were i am now lol

well.....i got a "new" guy lol.....but it is gonna be work i think, his name is Wes...and he drinks, and smokes, and does dope...but not around me, so it is a start, but he is really sweet to me, and i like him alot, so lets hope it works out
