Introduction
This post was made for YOU. We made this thread to answer hopefully any questions you might have about this website, whether you are a new member, or you've been here since "the beginning of time". Hopefully this will cut down on some of the "question" threads and just make the board easier.
A (very subjective) definition of a New Member (aka "newbie") is a member who has joined within a week or has less than 50 posts. However, this isn't a solid definition, there are exceptions. Some people will always be n00bs.
newbie = a nice term
n00b = not so nice
If you have any problems with my FAQ, then just pm and I'll try to help. I'm open to any and every suggestion. If you have a problem with anything on thos board, then please PM (private message) me first, instead of making a "OmG HaV U ReD tHiSsS? ItZ lYkE.. SoO MeEn!" thread.

Avatars
if you are tring to upload one and it's too big:
1) go to paint
2) go to File then Open, then pick the picture you want to put as your avatar
3) go to image, then stretch-skew
4) just play around with it... It needs to be about 100x100 as the final size.
5) click Save.. and SAVE IT AS A JPEG, not a bmp then go to your profile and upload it!
To Upload an Avatar
1. Go to the top of the main forum page and click " my profile" (on the right)
2. Go to where it says "My Avatar"
3. Click "Upload my Picture"
4. Upload your picture
5. Scroll Down and click APPLY
6. Click Okay
6. Find one of your old posts and make sure if uploaded correctly.

I have already uploaded several avatars for you to choose from.

Definitions, etc
1. BUMP = Bringing Up My Post
2. BOB= Barrel Of Bananas (an alternative for LOL)
3. Hits = How many times a thread has been looked at

Fighting/Arguments
If you have a problem and want to discuss it with someone... or you have a little disagreement, It's probably better to talk it out over PMs. If you post it on a board where everyone can read it, or continue an argument in the thread where it originated, you might get people involved that have nothing to do with the problem.

Pictures
To post a picture in one of your posts, go to "upload more files" right above the "okay" you click to post. Select the picture you want, then click Okay.
To see a picture that someone else posted, click the download link in the post
To post more than one picture in a post, go to an image hosting site, like Image Shack and upload the pictures you want, then paste the links in your post.

Posting
To post a new thread, go to the board you want to post it on, and right above the posts on the left there's a button that says "new thread". Click that link, type whatever you want, then click post.
When you post a new thread, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't make a really long one-word subject like owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww because it REALLY messes up everyone's screen.

Private Messenging
A Private Message (aka PM) is a message sent to, and only to, another member.

TO SEND A PM:
Click the little "comic book bubble" on one of that person's posts, type the message and a subject, and then send it.

TO CHECK YOUR PM's:
Either click "okay" on the popup box that notifies you of your new PM's, or click "inbox" near the top of the forum page

DELETING PM's:
Make sure you delete your old PM's because if your box gets full you won't be able to recive any new ones. To do this, go to your PM box, check the boxes of the ones you want to delete, and then click delete.

Ranks
The stars and rank under your name stands for, not only how many posts you have, but for how the other members rate you. You are rated on your helpfulness, kindness, and attitude. When you have 100 posts or more, you can PM me for a personalized rank (see mine.) I can also change usernames.
You start out as a New Member (less than 15 posts)
Then you go to Starting Member (15-29 Posts)
Junior Member (30-44 posts)
Senior Member (45-59 posts)
Super Member (above 60 posts)

Signatures
To attach your signature, go to Profile, then type whatever you want into the Signature box. It's not that hard. To add color, type [*color=whatevercoloryouwant] TEXT [*/color], but take out the *'s.

Spamming
Please don't spam. Don't post a bunch of useless posts just for the sake of geting more posts or getting an avatar. It's more work for the mods, and it takes longer to get all the other posts approved.
However, post as much as you want in all the other threads! that's the fastest and easiest way to get a good rating!

Typing
DoN'T TaWlK LiiKe ThYs. it's annoying, hard to read, and A lot of people usually won't take the time to decipher it.
PLEASE DON'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS! if you are emphisising a few words or even a sentence or two, that's okay, but when you post an entire thing in all caps it comes off as yelling.
oh, and please don't make your font really really big when you're typing something long.
